Is there a way to speed up the netsuite server side (that I have no control over)? All of my scripts run in under a second, but the netsuite side takes like 5-25 seconds

Not sure there is an easy way to find out. You are able to move the account maintenance to different time slots if you are on OCI, plus NetSuite would have notified you of the migration to OCI
