Hi all, I have 2 roles that are almost identical. I have a PO search that has some columns that should be editable. In one role toggling edit results in the ability to edit the field, in the other role toggling edit shows the pencil icon in the columns but they cannot actually be edited. Any ideas? (it seems to be related to POs, not this specific search). Role Diffs:
Also, I didn't notice before. but in the role that works the "View | Edit" column has both "View" and "Edit". In the role where it doesn't work it only has "View". If I click on "View" and it takes me to the record I can click the edit button on the record.
I assume this is related but I can't figure out what the underlying reason is...

There's a help page article that explains potential reasons fields may not be inline editable. Main one in my experience is the field not on the preferred form

Update, this ended up being because the role has "restrict time and expenses" checked...which blocks inline editing for POs.
