@Marwan Because Netsuite offer two types of discount. 1. for line level and for every line item 2. for whole document on document level. You are trying to use document level discount.

@Marwan The discount you entered is on line level and line level field value will not populate to body level. For this, you need to setup discount item for document level and select it in discount item field on body level.

This is a weird behaviour from NS. Thanks for your help, it will try to find a solution.

@Marwan What is your purpose to populate tis field?

It will populate a rate from the discount item if the discount item has a rate set, but you can overwrite it to what you need it to be.
