What can we potentially lose with respect of Time-Phased/MRP if we use Actual Sales instead of Orders in the Transactions to Consider preference in the Inventory Management Preferences page? We're going to have an integration and I don't want to use Actual Sales then later on realize that we should be using Orders to maximize the Time-Phased/MRP Is the Transactions to Consider preference relevant only for the Calculate Item Demand Plan page?

I am still catching up on Time-Phase / MRP my self. But what I think is, sales would be based on shipped sales. Orders would be orders & sales so would include back orders. you might risk not ordering enough to over back orders and pre-orders?
