I think this is a defect but wondering if anyone else has the same issue. Working in a new sandbox and creating an item record with SS2.1. Upon record.save() the record is successfully created, however, SS2.1 is throwing an error for INVALID API USAGE ” You must use getValue to return the value set with setValue” and will not return the new record’s internal id. I’m sure this was working a few days ago. Any thoughts?

This is just a netsuite lame-ism. You can't do a getText for anything in a record you are creating
