Looking for ways to bulk update the Exemption Certificate No. field on the customer record for Avalara. When we went live, we didn't have certificates updated so we set that field to EXEMPT for all customers. Now we need to remove it so we can use the certificate information stored in Avalara. Its not updatable through CSV import or Mass Update. I also can't see the AvaTax tab or that field on the form. We need to also make sure no one with edit permissions can update that field. Help!

In my account that field is available for imports. Are you trying a CSV to the right customer form?

Yep, I double checked the form & the custom field has "show in list" checked.

Not what I mean. Show in list will not mean that it is certainly applied to the form. Check that button and see that it is applied to the form you are importing to.
