Does anyone know how Saved Searches evaluate criteria in the back end? Do they do it in the order you have it on the criteria tab? Or does it do them all concurrently and it doesn't really matter which order you enter that stuff in? We have quite a bit of history (10+ years) and a lot of transactional activity, so I pretty much always have some sort of date criterion, but I wasn't sure if it really makes a difference if that's first.

interested in knowing this as well, was just wondering the other day what was the best order to put the criteria in. I did hear from someone at suiteworld that they are indexed based on Period, so filtering by period is supposed to help but i havent looked into it or done any testing.

I'm pretty sure that an optimizer kicks in and reorders your criteria lines to have the best performance. And it's not about to make you happy and run searches faster, but so you can serve more customers with the same resources at data center.
