A bit random but I guess that is the purpose of the channel 👀 How common is it for U.S. companies to hire NetSuite functional consultants or developers from Europe and provide visa sponsorship? I have seen some job posts where it is stated explicitly that the company does not provide sponsorships, but other offers do not have that in the listing

I'd be surprised if any did, to be honest

not exactly addressing this issue, but some larger multi-national companies may be open to hiring in any location they have a presence in, regardless of where the job is listed, and that wouldn't require a visa. if they have an office or remote workers in your country, it could be worth asking

In my experience, if companies are providing sponsorship it's so that a company can get resources that they can significantly underpay (whereas typically EU salaries are roughly on par with US) or so that they can get particular skill sets they can't find anywhere else (lately that seems to be all about AI folks, but I'm sure there are plenty of other examples). It's not super common, but I've seen sponsorships for NetSuite admin/developers a few times, but every single one has been folks from India FWIW.

It's just not happening for the reasons James expressed. Sponsorship is to get cheap not to help you

Fair enough, thanks for the replies 🙂 From what I read online it does not seems an easy process for companies to sponsor someone as well, so it makes sense that is not so common.
