Does anyone know when NetSuite plans to deploy the new access type / permissions for custom record types to production NetSuite accounts? I just checked a client’s account, and it hasn’t been deployed yet and they have been upgraded to 2024.2.

Actually the issue happened to clients that get upgraded to 2024.2

The deployment of the permissions change didn’t occur for my client at the same time as the 2024.2 upgrade. It occurred in their sandbox account before it was upgraded. Their production account is 2024.2 and it has not been deployed yet.
Maybe only some 2024.2 upgrades are getting it deployed at the same time.

Oh I see, good to know. I was not aware of that. Unless you got locked custom records, you can update them manually. There have been too many days to keep waiting on their end.

I asked Support about the redeployment of the permission change to our Production instance, and they couldn't commit to a schedule.

We got an email saying the sc configuration bundle will be updated for us today, however it will be unlocked on install and remain unlocked temporarily ( approx 2 months ) while we evaluate customizations that may need elevated permissions before it becomes locked again

Thanks everyone. Just to be clear, I am asking about the new permissions being deployed to the custom record type not the updated bundles that apply the settings.
In the production account, it still has the old value in the Access Type field. Not the value that limits it to internal users.
