Hey all, anyone else turned on the “Redwood Experience” yet? Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts and any significant changes/improvements it caused.

I've been using it and so far so good. Only issue I have is differentiating between sandbox and production easily. I switched sandbox back to the OG look because of that.

@Isaac M anything stand out to you that’s game changing? I feel like it’s bolder and more modular but isn’t drastic
i
Yeah I'd sum it up just like you said. But no real changes as far as functionality. It's pretty much just another theme choice at this point in time.

I've been trialing, personally not a huge fan. No major improvement and two minor bugbears 1) saved search title disappears when scrolling down through results; 2) custom fields displaying saved search data with line breaks now get auto-split into two columns. No doubt a niche problem and we can get around it but annoying that we have to, I'm not sure what this change was meant to improve...

I thought maybe it would have a responsive mobile version now, but that’s not true….

I'm not thrilled with it at this point. No real customization, and I rely on different color schemes between my prod and sandboxes. It's... very clean, but I think some more baking will help. Sure wouldn't mind a native dark mode, either.

Agreed @Mark C, I think it’s a step towards something. Just nothing yet besides set colors and cleaner kind of.

The thing I like very much about it is,,, the field label is not all capitalized, it follows anything I defined

One other thing I just realized some days ago, RedWood has a slightly different DOM structure. So you may want to revisit your script if you have a script which does some DOM manipulation (which is not recommended anyway)
