I'm kind of bummed people don't ask questions in channels anymore/ it made the community feel more alive.

I hear you there. I actually had great and well drawn out answers from the Oracle community on some issues. When I ask questions in chat it is normally not responded to at all. I am someone who enjoys interacting and helping other people but I am too new to scroll through threads and answer questions but when I get there I will be much more active in chats I believe.
