This kinda thing is usually an excel issue, not a NetSuite one in my experience. I usually end up fixing the files manually. Do you also get teh special characters when opening it in notepad? On the import to NetSuite which I have more experience with, I have scripts that identify these cases and correct them on the import, cause fixing the files is too tedious.

Hi @Sam Dainton, since the csv attachment goes out to customers daily via scripting, we don't have the chance to fix them manually.
