Hello, I have a question. is it possible to add items that are sold as standalone items to a kit and be able to allocate them? I seem to remember this is a system limitation in netsuite. thank you.

you can add them to the order and they will allocate within the order based on FV of all SKUs. Kit must be set separately; you cannot add items to a kit on a transaction

@Karina can you allocate the fair value of skus if they can be sold as standalone on another sales order or if they are included in a kit as components?

are you asking if a kit components can be picked up at the time transaction is created? if so - no. But if you add multiple items to a SO the allocation will be calculated according their FVs. Kit works with GROUPSUM formula where FVs of kit components are related to each other specifically.

you can setup a kit in configurations where you use standalone items.

if you are saying an item can be a stand alone item all on its own and a kit member at the same time - no. Configs happen at the item level, not possible to be both at the same time
