Hi, Has anyone worked a NSAR project? It is NetSuite’s Account reconciliation automation module. What kind of consultants typically would work a job like this?

If you know anyone who knows Oracle's EPM platform that's probably best. The frustrating thing about NSAR and NSPB/PBCS is that they're not really NetSuite. They're a pre-existing Oracle platform that they just created an integration for. Noticed this a lot at SuiteWorld this year, that Oracle seems to be just taking its existing products, slapping a NetSuite on there, and then trying to market it to all their existing customers. Good for Oracle if it works out I guess, but pretty frustrating for us admins who don't really know EPM that well and are stuck in between the shiny sales pitch that it's a NetSuite product and the reality of the situation.

@James Morris there are more of these EPM products coming to NetSuite

Yes, yes, I understand why Oracle is doing it. And acknowledge that I'm probably a dinosaur that just needs to get with the times and learn EPM more fully. I just resent the way Oracle is marketing it. Especially when the selling point for NetSuite is you're going to reduce all that complexity and be able to manage everything all in one system. Just feel disingenuous IMHO to present a completely different platform as a single unified system. If it's really NetSuite, I shouldn't have to worry about Essbase upgrades or integration settings.
