But... uh... at least Air Canada did not strike (yet?) and cancel all its flights. A Canadian NetSuite contact indicated getting emails while in Vegas that he should reschedule his flight home in case of strike and cancellation... but he could not find alternative travel. At risk of being stuck in Vegas until he could.
