Hello, good day. I would like to perform a bulk upload of images to NetSuite in .webp format. How could I implement this, considering that I see NetSuite does not support this format?
m
In the file cabinet folder UI, there is an "Advanced Add" button. Using this feature, you can upload a .zip file with all of your images and NetSuite will expand the contents of the .zip file in the destination file cabinet folder.

but if you read files in .webp format ?

Your question was how to upload a bunch of image files. You can do this with the approach outlined. If your question is how to make NetSuite display a file format that it doesn't natively support, that's a different question. What's the end goal?

I mean, I need to upload images to NetSuite in
.webp
format and not in
.jpg
or
.png
. How could I implement that?
e
Upload them from where?
w
So if I have an image on my PC, for example, mouse.webp, and I want to upload it to NetSuite, how do I make it recognize that format?
e
I have no issue uploading then downloading a webp like any other file
If this is just a manual one-time upload by a user, I see no reason you couldn't Zip > Advanced Add as described above. Are you encountering different behavior in the UI?
w
is that uploading the image in .webp format does not display it in netsuite.

So the problem isn't uploading then, it's displaying?
w
yes

I would submit a case and ask Netsuite it this is supported, otherwise you might need to upload them to other place and make reference of them.
