Hi NS experts, has anyone ever done a reverse on component issue on work order? what would be a good process for it? work order no longer needed and need to pull component back from WIP to raw material, any suggestions? TIA!

Have you considered deleting the work order issue? I am not aware of all the details, but sometimes that is enough, at least if your WO issue is in an open period

Hi @mesper, yes I tried delete the transaction, and it did put the issued components back to inventory. however, what if only partial of the issued components need to be reversed? in some case, some components had already been consumed. I tried to edit the component issue to reflect the change, but want to understand whether this will cause any problem or not. And once i updated the component issue, what will be next steps?
