How are files being created from outside users to begin with? What are you seeing?

Because File Cabinet files have this option

Edgar is right. Sorry, I misread the original post. To prevent outside users, the files need to have that unchecked.

Thanks for the reply guys. These files are being created by an integration user. It creates these files and by default the checkbox is checked. Is there anyway , i can have the default setting as. "Unchecked" ?

I'd imagine it could be set in the integration.

I don't seeany entry in System Notes to check this check box. So I am assuming this is a default setting somewhere

I've noticed that some system notes aren't captured on creation of a record for fields. I'm not aware of any preference that would control it.
