What are the possible reasons why a field might not appear in the Mass Update as something I can set? I’m trying to update noninventory items for resale setting two custom item fields, both fields seem to be set up the same but only one is visible in the mass update.

is one a formula field and/or doesn't have Store Value checked? that's all I can think of off the top of my head. What's the field type on the one that's not showing?

I recall somethign about the field needing to be visible on your default form

do you have the fields access level set to edit? I've ran into fields not updating from that being blank before

My experience is that if the field is not editable in the form it doesn't appear in the mass update (if it is blocked by a script, workflow, role permission, etc.)

just encountered this again with a custom field on a custom record. Field is visible on all forms. Field is editable on all forms. Field access level is set to edit. Field is stored.
not a formula. It’s a L/R.
