We have revenue arrangements with Revenue Plan Status of “Plan Failed”. We fixed the error (missing accounting periods), but the plans don’t get created still when the Update Revenue Plans button is clicked.

Hey Luis - if possible I would recommend updating all the revenue plans as if you were redoing your month-end close - for whatever reason I’ve had trouble updating singular ones. You may also just need to try a few times for it to go through

Delete the RA if you don’t have rev plan generated And regenerate the RA

We bulk updated the revenue plans as well but it didn't work. We ended up deleting the RA. But what if there are plans and JEs already? Would I be stuck then?

normally if JE exist then the rev plan will have normal status

But what if I extend the end to a date in which there is no accounting period set up yet?

you will have an error when updating the rev plan it seems to me telling you that the accounting period does not exist
