I’ve built this same search and also modified it successfully
You could probably change the EXTRACT YEAR formula
To something comparing Month/Year of sysdate to month/year of the accounting period end date

Also remember you can’t add filters to dynamically set date ranges. I believe this is just always going to show from the current date/time backwards
