Need help with Intercompany Eliminations failing due to missing mandatory header memo field on the JE form. My client needs to have the header memo field mandatory on all journal entries so we marked the field mandatory on the transaction form. Now, when they try to run eliminations in the month end close checklist, the elimination JEs fail due to a missing memo. The memo on the screenshot below translates to the line memo on the eliminations journal. There has to be simple solution but I'm just not seeing it. Any help would be appreciated.

Create a workflow to make a memo mandatory when the user.id is not equal to -4 or when the subsidiary is not equal to elimination sub.

That makes sense. I was thinking there was a setting to select which form the elim. entry can use or some other system setting to fix this. Thank you for the reply
