I've found it to be one of the best conferences I've been to over the years. I approach it with the "there's got to be something I don't know, a thing they haven't documented/announced yet, or a 'just didn't think about it in that way' " event. Pricing is... well, not cheap. I don't know the current ticket price but I think it's probably around $1500. Then there's travel and hotel. Food is cheap (well...) because you get fed at the conference and the many events in the evenings. You'll have to stand in line though. Vegas isn't cheap though overall. Networking is great. Have met a ton of new people in the biz, and got to connect with some of the great people who are active here on Slack. I've also found NS partners who didn't have something I needed then, but a couple of years later we needed that service and I had a stack of business cards to pull out and make calls from. So yeah. I think it's a great event. One of my 2 'non-negotiables' with my boss is that I get to go to SuiteWorld every year. The other is I get a Sandbox. 🙂

Can't imagine working with NetSuite without Sandbox. That would be like solo climbing.

I agree on all the above. I went last year paying on my own and this was my experience. I opted for the flamingo which was cheaper and seemed just as far from the conference to save a little bit of money

Thanks for your feedback guys! I appreciate it.

Yes, by far the best conference I have been to, I have been to many other "IT" conferences and they pale in comparison, yes, the cost is much higher, but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Check out the Linq, it is right between the Flamingo and Harrahs, but is much cheaper, and has access to the bridge to the forum.

If you go on your own, do you need like an invite or something like that? or do you just pay for it?
r
Just buy a ticket to SuiteWorld

Ditto on the Linq. It's kind of a holiday inn with a casino but priced well and connected to the conference with an indoor walkway.

Food wise, it is then both a "normal" breakfast and lunch? 👀 I was thinking it would be something like a coffee and some small snack or similar while people had the chance to network and walk around.
t
The last few years, the breakfast and lunch are typically sit down. They do usually have snacks and drinks through out the day out side of the session rooms and in the Expo.

Great to know! Thanks Todd 🙂
