HI, i have created few fileds and there type is inline and some of the fields are disabled, but when i am trying csv imports this fileds are not coming in field mapping how can i solve this issue?
c
Should disabled fields show?
m
yes, disabled fileds and inline fields need to show in the import field mapping
c
By inline, are you referring to mainline fields?
I'm not convinced that disabled fields should be show when doing import mapping.
m
i didnt get the question, i am importing some custom records data to netsuite,in the custom record some fields are inline (body filelds) and some of the fileds are disabled ,but this fields are not showinh up
c
Screenshot the field config
and I don't think disabled will fields will show in the mapping.
What use would a disabled field be in mapping
m
c
Screenshot the one of the fields that isn't showing
m
ESG Fileds are inlined
c
Can you show the field record?
Just one example of one that isn't showing in the mapping
m
this filed is not showing
c
• "*Inline Text* - For informational purposes only. The information in this field is the result of custom code calculation, defaulting or sourcing information only. Inline text field of the List/Record or Check Box type are not available for use with custom code. These fields are also not available for transaction column fields. "
That might suggest that you can't import data into an INLINE TEXT field.
Change the display type then see if it appears in the import mapping.
m
yes, i changed to normal now it is showing
c
I think that's the answer then.
m
why inline fileds not showing for imports
c
For the reason in the help text I just pasted.
The information in this field is the result of custom code calculation, defaulting or sourcing information only
m
ok,tq for the info
c
No worries.
Sometimes NetSuite does not work in the way we want it to 🙂
