Has anyone taken action on this upcoming change to External Suitelet URLs? I was wondering if I can update external links today (before the 2024.2 release) and have them work in my production account? or if I have to try to time this perfectly so my external links are updated on the same day 2024.2 is rolled out to my account?

Both the old and new link formats are working now in 2024.1.

Yes, the new URLs are present and showing in 2024.1 already. The old URLs will stop working in 2024.2

@ericbirdsall Thank you. Is this for dynamic URL or hard code URL? I believe we won't know the new URL till it changed, if we have hardcode it externally, and we can only catch it when it happened (2024.2) but not proactively test it prior to happening?

@Annie It's only relevant for hardcoded URLs, not where you resolve the external script URL. The new URLs have been available since May actually. You'll see that the new URLs contain the parameter
