@bednar for my last company I had to create 18 xml templates due to locale and subsidiaries, so I added some custom fields for the banking and other subsidiary related info in the subsidiary record then source them in the template. You can also create the same data set using custom field then auto source them buy locale/sub selection to invoice record then display them in the template. Atleast it will better than hardcoding all the templates. I also created a user event script and a custom list to select the custom invoice form (locale based) as default for the invoice from customer record (if you want I can pass on the code?).
