Ok I post this out here every couple months in the hope that someone has figured this out. The auto-scroll in my menus no longer works most of the time. By auto-scroll, I mean where you highlight the little downward pointing triangle at the bottom of the menu that represents more values (most notably seen on the Reports & Setup menus) and then the system auto-scrolls down to the next set of values.
It seems like a small thing, but it's very irritating when it doesn't work. The alternative is you have to click one by one to get new values and then if you don't have memorized the last value in the menu, you inevitably click on that value even if you don't want to.
NS Support couldn't figure it out although they've filed a defect. It originally started happening about a year ago when I upgraded to W10. Eventually I figured out that it was the touchscreen causing the issue and once I shut that off, everything worked as it should. It worked correctly for about 6 months until a couple months ago, it started happening again.
Throughout the process when it wasn't working, this was happening on all browsers I tried (Vivaldi, Ghost, Edge, IE, Opera, Chrome) other than Firefox. Recently I started having the problem on Firefox as well. Oddly enough, when I restart, it will often work correctly temporarily. Sometimes only for a few minutes, sometimes the whole day. I'm at a loss as to what could be causing this.
I've tried turning my touchscreen on again and then back off, clearing my cache, restarting the computer (which temporarily fixes it as noted), but beyond that, I can't think of anything else to try. Anyone else have this problem and figure out how to fix it?
