We do have another option which is to update COGS account of the item by filing a defect for this concern. However, the change will be retrospective; meaning, transactions that are in a closed period will also have their GL impact updated to the new account, but this should not trigger any inventory costing recalculation. This do not cover the following:
a. Kit Items
b. Child Matrix Item
c. Shipping Items
