Hi all, Does anyone know if you can safely, manually delete an Asset that was created from a proposal but has not yet depreciated anything? The Delete Assets function does not allow deleting assets created from a proposal

Hi @Sean Hennessy, can you delete the proposal record and then delete the asset?
Solution 1. Navigate to Fixed Assets > Searches > Proposal History 2. Note: Another way to see the list of Asset Proposals is by searching "Page: FAM Asset Proposal" via Global Search. 3. FAM Asset List Created From Proposals list: Find the Asset record to be deleted 4. Click Edit 5. FAM Asset Proposal: Hover over Actions 6. Click Delete 7. Are you sure you want to delete this record?: Click OK Once the Asset Proposal record is deleted, and if there are no associated Journal Entries, users may proceed with the Delete Assets process again.

Thanks mate, yep we figured this out. You can Delete all the related records to the asset (which includes the proposal) and delete it all manually. Not sure why this isnt managed by the Delete Assets function lol

Ah nice - yeah seems like it could have been designed better
