What format does the `Credit Memo : Customer (Req)` field need to be on CSV imports of credit memos?

Is it customer ID? Customer Name? Customer ID and name? internal Id?

Where *1234-0000987* is the Customer ID, *ACME Generic Customer* is the customer name. Or should I be using the customer internal Id 1492241

I've always just used the customer ID before

I'd use internal ID, which I assume is *"1492241".* You do have to go into the import mapper, click the little pencil, and change the option to Internal ID though.

Ah ha! I was using a saved import used by the end users I'm assisting. They neglected to mention that they had it mapped to external ID, which of course doesn't work with any of the three options I tried.
