Is it possible to control the order in which sales orders get waved via a scheduled wave? When I schedule a wave, I don't know what the order is for orders getting assigned to a wave. We limit the amount of orders on the waves so they don't get too long. The problem I am having is that there may be 10 sales orders for item A. Item A will show up on 3 different waves. How can I ensure that all 10 sales orders for Item A land on the same wave? It is the most efficient if we only go to the item A location once rather than three times. I tried assigning a sort to the saved search that the scheduled wave runs off of but it doesn't seem to make a difference. #wave #scheduledwave

Yes you can make wave templates based on saved searches.

I do make templates but within those templates how do you control which orders get waved together by the wave scheduler? it has some sort of default order like order number I think. I'd like it to put all same items on the same wave rather than on 5 different waves. If I was manually creating the wave, I would make waves will similar items. How do I do this without making a wave template for each SKU? That also doesn't work because than you would have so many small waves.
