I have a question - if we want to track revenue by End User but End User and Billing Customer could be different, would you record sales transactions under the End User or under the Billing Customer and track End User in a custom field to map into revenue related transactions? i'm leaning towards recording under billing customer for purposes of A/R aging and cash application, but would love to hear others experience

I will record sales under the billing customer and setup the end user as a custom field

that is my thought too, but may not be able to convince others. users are looking to use hierarchy (Parent Customer) as Billing Customer if different than End User crying

Hi - this is a common question as "Sales" identifies the customer as the end user but "Accounting" recognizes the customer as the "Bill to". I recommend my clients to load the customer as the bill to and the end user as a separate field. Technically you have to report revenue by customer which is defined as the bill to
