Average cost - when does it get triggered? Have created a transfer order from Location A to Location B. Location A already has a location average cost however location B doesn't? Its the first transaction for location B but not sure when the location average cost is calculated systematically and what can be done to force it?

Did you tick or not tick the Use Item Cost as Transfer Cost on the TO? Hopefully you ticked it. Schedule is defined in Set Up > Accounting > Inventory Costing Preferences

@Luis yes its ticked on the TO and the costing preference is after transaction entry..
@Luis unfortunately its still showing as blank for that location. Any ideas why?
