Hi, my work has a Purchase Order Approval workflow and the employee who is the next approver on the workflow is getting the following error when trying to approve. It is trying to point to nextapprover as the old CFO that is inactive in NetSuite. I am not sure why it is doing that as the current approvers next approver is the current CFO and not the old one.

Not sure if this applies here , but at a previous job we had a similar setup. When the PO was submitted and the approval workflow kicked off it basically captured the entire chain of approvals (based on $ value of the PO). If someone left we had to reset the workflow to start the approval process over. Or use an 'override' that was an employee of equal approval level. Not sure if you might have something like that going on here...

I found one person in the possible workflow still had an approver that no longer works here. It isn't the next approver in line, but fall in the chain, so this might be it. Going to test today once we get the correct person and the right limits for that person.
