I have a saved search as a parameter on a suitelet script record, something I didn't write, only when I open the parameter field, there's no indication of which saved search it is. When the script runs it does have a saved search internal id. Can the script parameter be set to a particular saved search on the script record? Or is it passed to the suitelet from elsewhere?
b
what does the script parameter field look like
r
List/Record, Saved Search. The value is an id
b
sounds normal so far
and what value is set in the field for the script parameter?
r
I don't follow. Everything on all the tabs is blank. The only thing filled out is List/Record, Saved Search, Store Value, and Label. Plus id, internalid, etc.
b
there is an actual field that stores the value of a script parameter
find the field to find out what its value will be
importantly, you actually havent shared enough information to find the field
so you are either withholding critical information, or you dont actually know how script parameters store their value
r
do you mean a field in the ui?
b
yes
r
There is no default selection. Is it possible it was set with store value and then removed?
b
the default value of a field doesnt really matter for the value thats present in the field now
a
@reptar Which level is that parameter? Company Level? Script Level? Preference?
r
bahaha. i found it. the saved search is set on the deployment.
ty
script level
