Hey All. How does everyone handle purchase ordering of Kit Components? A sale for a kit creates demand for the components. I don't see special order as an option...and the items don't show up under order items. How do you cut POs for the components of kits?

Hey AK, the SO must be approved, and the component item must have an ROP of at least 0, null will exclude the item from the order items page.

thanks @Nick, that should get them on order items, but no way to generate a PO for the components from the SO, eh? I was hoping to be able to mark the line as special order and have a PO generate for the components, but that doesn't seem to be feasible. Without customization, i don't see a way to relate a purchase order to a kit line of a sales order.

Well the PO does generate, and is linked under related records, but it isn’t displayed in the UI at the line level like non-kit items do.
