Hello everyone, I'm updating our site to 2022.1, and I'm working on a change in our extensions right now, would you suggest change our JS files in the extension to TS? is there any benefit on doing this, performance i.e?

TypeScript is not supported in extensions, so no.

Just a heads up Docs are confusing it says that it is possible to create extension with TS

@Santiago, yes, it is confusing but this is regarding a custom module, it says that at the top, the folder can be named as you prefer, in this case it says extensions (which is causing the confusion).

It’s only confusing because the author of this material chose to use the name “extension” in the name of the customisation. The tutorial is not actually telling you to create an extension
