My company would like to offer some bundled packages to our customers on our website. They have been using item groups on the backend, but those are not able to be viewed on the website, and kits and assemblies don't fit their needs (items need to be broken out on a drop ship PO). Would using a dummy item on the site, that then triggers adding the item group from the backend, a good way to "fake" adding an item group? Is there an easier or better way that I'm not thinking of where this can work? Any thoughts are appreciated!
