Newbie question. Can suitescripts run checks on sales records being created by an EDI? We need to check new records created from a vendor for a duplicate value. If so, then mark a checkbox on the new record being created. How does something like this work?

Woah. I think this is exactly what I’m looking for. Basically, the vendor sends a revised PO (Duplicate Sales order with same otherrefnum). I need to flag it with a checkbox so the sales person can know this is a revised and close the previous one.

Don't really think it's wrong, but you could use the same logic to fire this in SS2. If you're new to SS I would suggest this as a perfect first project.
