I am getting an error when trying to create a Sales Order using SOAP:
Error: Invalid item reference key 7565 for subsidiary 19.
The item does indeed exist and has worked in the past. Any ideas why I would be getting this error? I'm relatively new to NetSuite, so I don't know where to start looking. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a dumb question but you are sure someone didnt inactivate the item, right?
w
I don't believe so. Do you know where I would find that in the NetSuite UI?
c
Either you're using the wrong subsidiary or the item has been inactived or its the wrong item for the subsidiary. Thats what it is 99% of the time
w
How would I tell if it is inactive and do you know where I can check the subsidiary?
c
the item record ID for ID 7565
w
I'm looking at that now, but there is so much information on the page, I don't know what I'm looking for. I have an
OBSOLETE (END OF LIFE)
checkbox, but that is unchecked.
c
There's a property for isinactive or you can go to the list view and click "show inactive" and you look for that ID and see if its inactive
w
Update: I found the Subsidiary and we only have one, so I'm not sure how that would be the problem.
c
You'll have to check the form level to see where isinactive box is on the record though]
b
it would be pretty unusual to only have a single subsidiary with the internal id 19
w
That's all that I see. We had some trouble getting things set up and outsourced the setup, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were 18 others that were deleted.
Looks like it might be inactive:
I think that was it. Thank you everyone!
