Has anyone ever dealt with a situation where one or more scripts in a. locked bundle have been failing to run due to an error, but no active users are being notified? The configuration of the bundle scripts is set to email the bundle owner, and that user passed away over a year ago. We just noticed today that several scripts have been failing for at least the past 31 days, maybe longer. Is there any way to get the failure emails routed to an active user in a case like this?

im assuming the lame answer is to change the email of the owner to a different email
preferably a group email

yeah, that's the only way that i know of that's guaranteed. we did discover recently that technically you can write via script to a locked script record, so you can actually update the owner, but i think it gets overwritten if the bundle is ever updated so it's not an ideal solution unless it's a long-dead bundle.

what about changing the email of the old employee?

So, we already did that, and the email was changed to a senior VP’s email address, for company policy reasons. However, he doesn’t use Netsuite and has been ignoring all of the failure emails for the past several weeks.
This is an old bundle that is never going to be updated again, so maybe the “update via script” option will be good enough for now.
