on a sales order if you created an IF the fulfill button disappears but the pending fulfillment status doesn't change till its marked shipped, so what value is changing?

use case i have saved search of all orders but i want to filter out the ones created IF and those that it wasnt ?

Look at the status field, when a fulfillment has been created but not shipped, it should be "Partially Fulfilled". Once a fulfillment has shipped, it will either be "Pending Billing/Partially Fulfilled", or "Pending Billing", depending on any remaining line items that have not been fulfilled/shipped. If you are looking for the status in a suitescript search you will have to refer to this table of values.
