whine: It's really tedious to convert a suitelet from fixed strings to using the translate and setting up strings.

I've created a function that puts them in a global and then use LOCALIZED_STRINGS.STRINGNAME() to retrieve them. Anyone with better ideas? It's the first time I use this module.

<@UP0GS40AF> how are you finding the translation module so far? I think theres more of this type of support in the translation module?

It worked for all the suitelet-strings that I wanted to translate. 
I looks a bit weird calling the strings with a function of the same name. I'd prefer just to get them as an ordinary object but I suppose you could write a function to retrieve all strings into the format of your choosing but I didn't want to write that extra code.

I wonder, based on what you said I'd have to really test, APAC really sees this functionality as something very important, but correct me if I'm wrong right now, anything that's on the localization section of the field, be it the label, that's not available in freemarker right? (like advanced pdf or even N/render)

Wasn't there something new about that in 2021.1? I haven't looked into it.
