Sorry, I'm not so knowledgeable on all of this. I generally code in Visual Studio, not VS Code. Would this only only for VS Code?

I'm not familiar with this end of things. Meaning to build a CLI to push/pull? Would I be able to do that in Visual Studio or only VS Code?
