Is this possible to set year wise auto number for transaction by dynamically

Please elaborate.

I need to set year wise auto generate number. If last year final transaction number is FY20_1291. Now I change the current year transaction number as FY21_####. Now I try to add previous year entry means, need to set auto number as FY20_1292 not FY21_####. Is this possible by default
