Hey all VSCode SuiteScripters... I just released an update to my SuiteSnippets extension. Some large changes in this release, including updated support for any new SS API functions from NS Release 2020.2. Full change log will be in the replies... https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ericbirdsall.SuiteSnippets

Great job @ericbirdsall I started using VSCode and your plugin recently. It's very cool. You deserve coffee for this 😉

@netsuite_insights Thanks Chidi! Hope it saves you some time. Great podcast with Eric and Tim by the way!

It does. Before now, I always found myself polling SuiteAnswers to clarify some call signature/parameters. Now, you've brought that to me and I'm very grateful. By the way, what's your take on https://netsuiteprofessionals.slack.com/archives/C42JX79UZ/p1607699347453500? Given your experience with VS Code, do you think it's something we can easily pull off? Thanks Re: podcast. Are you the next guest? 😉

I'm actually not very familiar with SDK/SDF. I know there is another extension for VSCode that allows you to push/pull from your NS file cabinet. But I don't actually use it so I can't speak for it. https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=nsupload-org.netsuite-upload
I actually created a sort of makeshift source control in my NetSuite account. I made a suitelet that allows me to drag and drop an updated JS file into the browser. Then the suitelet finds a file with the same existing name, copies it to a folder that is named with the File Name and current Date/Time, then replaces the original file with the updated one
@netsuite_insights Re: the podcast. I'm not sure I'm quite relevant enough. But I'd love to be part of it if they asked
