Does anyone know if it's possible to use Suitescript to render a report (specifically, Balance Sheet and Income Statement) to PDF and save the rendered result into the file cabinet? If so, could you point me to some high level modules and/or method calls which would be used to do this?

I don't think so. I think you can only do adv html/pdf.
