Looking to generate barcode as PNG image via Suitelet. Cannot use advanced PDF. Any API or library that you have used?

I imagine so but haven't tried. It's just an endpoint that returns a png

My client says we cannot trust the github code API. and I cannot stop laughing.

Then write one from scratch and let the client pay it or let the client pick a Saas bar code API service

If you don't trust the endpoint you can audit the library code and then host your own version. It should be simple enough on lambda free tier.

It's not about trust though, they are worried what if the endpoint closes or they run into an issue and need support..
