@burkybang There is no way to get the underlying record type used by a custom field type: List/Record as far as I know.

Not sure if you're understanding. I just want to convert the record type internal ID (example -2) to the equivalent script ID (employee).

Yes, I do understand, there is no way to do that, no mapping or enumeration object to do that unless you create your own.
