I dont have access to the xml directly, I saw the custom record and the field and thoughtm well I can get it from here but, when doing the code I used a lookup to get the data and logging the lookup I saw the whole xml as string, but when assigning it the

lookup.field

to a variable I only got the data without the tags, thats when I entered the custom record and edit it and looked that the field only had the data, without tags
